yea man, are those jl2's? those are some of the best amps i ever heard in my life, especially for kt amps. all those power tubes and it only puts out 150w is saying something. if i had a pair of cats and matching preamp id might never change gear again..... maybe

omg paul!!!! i think i just soiled myself. add the h3000 phonostage and thats where i see my stereo heading in the future. pair of 5000's and the preamp!!
i think those big speakers with that huge driver would benefit from the monos over the integrated anyway.
how much is that western elec?? i want em now too!!!!

lol. the pre is out of my league. can get an all world pre used for $5k or less these days.
but those amps.im sure i could justify buying them and being broke for awhile.
seems all the 300b amps i desire right now are all the same price.lol.
except my 10w baby sophia!!

Hey Paul, the pic of the A5000 you showed in your post is the twin 300b 25 watter, FYI those are 14K a pair. What I am getting in is the A5000 DHT's, half the power only using one 300B but every other tube in the signal path is a direct heated triode (DHT).

Only reason I choose the A5000 is it's available in black :).
