You sure do seem awfully worked up over continually reading and posting on something that you don't care about. Most people simply ignore what they don't care about.

I hear those Corvette are pretty nice. I have a Cayman S. I understand it would not stand a chance against that car. But the Macan GTS we are eying is actually a solid performer. And then there are the electric Macan. They have enormous power when you get into the Turbo electric version. 630 HP.

Personally, I don't want it that loud. I like the Cayman as you can more hear the transmission spin up inside the cab. And then there is my Mercedes with a 5.5 liter. Very quiet. But it has balls when you want them. My wife yells at me saying I'm giving her whiplash when I jump on it!!!!!!!!!!

Funny… I have a lot of nice junk around here, building speakers, a pair of Line Arrays, etc.

Track Days / Coaching is another passion that I’ve been doing for over 20 years. I’ve made a lot of friends in the industry.

I have a big mouth and I can string words together… thought about sharing stuff that I think (know) is stuff that many people will never get to see up close.

I have noticed that quite a few people are into high-end audio and high performance cars… I happen to be into the stuff on racetracks and have access.

For instance, the the time my buddy worked for Porsche N.A., and we were at the 12 Hours of Sebring. Now he is tip of the spear for the Ford Racing Team marketing.

Or… how about the insides of an Ayre Acoustics KX-R Twenty...

Or maybe my buddy’s Oreca. He lives in Sarasota and I stole his XA200.5…

I’m probably too busy.

One of the few times that MEP and I completely agree (see logic can actual prevail). You really are a piece of work. You think you stir the pot, but what you actually do is make yourself look kind of small and implacable.

He thinks he's part of tearing WBF down. It's part of the transformative change coming to audio in 2026 that he's working on as part of his 2026 HiFi Negativity Tour. He's going to teach WBF a lesson for banning him from their site.
 
Just like here, I think there are plenty of good folks on WBF who are pleasant and helpful. People who know a lot and willing to engage in rational discussion. There are also some I find to be incredibly closed minded who take a very condescending pose at any difference of opinion-but that's to be found everywhere on the internet. I don't get deleting threads or banning people unless its truly egregious, defamatory, etc. With that said, if you choose to participate in a private forum you are playing in someone else's sandbox and they get to run it as they choose. If we find that intolerable, options abound. For the dealers, its their living and a bit different. For guys like me, as much as I love the experience its just listening to music. So, I'm going to do my best to not call anybody names just because they think cable risers are transformative.

Yeah. The gang is still around, just not participating in any forum. Mark (MDP) golfs 6-7 days a week and just had hand surgery. I talk to him daily and visit a few times a year. Joe (joeinid) is dealing with the after math of losing his Mom (someone he cared for his entire life). He’s got to sell the family home and retire soon. Talk to him daily. Brucelet has some ongoing health issues, lots of pain, but we still chat regularly about the latest vinyl pressings. Saw him last summer. Allen I don’t hear from much. He’s busy with his family. Jock is still here and I’ll see him again in 2 weeks.
