> What does an $11,000 power cable sound like?
Sounds like a total waste of money.
It is for people who think NAD is high end.![]()
I think you'll find that NAD owners would have a little more sense than spend $11,000 on a cable. In fact you'd expect that of anyone will anything more than a molecule of common sense!![]()
It's sad that you can't find something better for your time than writing this drivel. I’ll leave you to spend your money on whatever amuses you without further comment. Goodbye.
So does that mean you can't explain for me what your idea of common sense in high end audio is? Darn it, I was so looking forward to your thoughts.

Common sense would be that people probably aren't going to spend more money on a power cord than what they spent on the component they are going to plug the power cord into.
I don't recall anyone saying otherwise. The market for this particular cable would be for those with a more expensive amp than the NAD. If you look at their offerings, Stealth has lower priced cables for lower cost systems. MM never said he was buying the cable. He did not say everyone should buy the 20-20 cable. He said you can't go wrong buying any of their cables. All he did was Review the 20-20 BUT if he likes it that much and wants to buy one, who cares? You support over priced items and capitalism run amuck right?
Here we go again with another of your rants against capitalism. I don't know why you keep interjecting politics into audio discussions. The Magico Pricing thread where you started your socialist rant was closed down.
Please explain to me how manufacturing and selling a product that is grossly over priced is Political. I know you support it or you would not be so upset when it gets called out. If you noticed, I pretty much stayed out of the Magico thread after you again brought Politics into it when it wasn't intended. If I was going to bring Politics into it, I would be blaming it on those pesky conservatives who make and spend their money as they wish. Get a grip and try to grasp why I said what I said, it's pretty simple to understand. But here it is simply put. Making a modest profit has morality involved. Making a 100 fold profit on a product at the expense of your employees and the consumer has little morality involved and more greed. Understand it this time?
It's real simple. It's the second you blame capitalism for prices you think are too high. Once you start attacking the economic system of our country, you dive head first into the deep end of the pool of politics. You just can't stop railing against your perceived injustices of capitalism. Do you understand it this time?
I understand that you support customers paying outrageous prices for things maybe not really worth it. My points are from a Moral standpoint, not a Political standpoint although the political climate allows for enormous amounts of Immorality. It is not an attack on the economic system itself, but for those who choose to push the limits beyond. I love Capitalism. It is what has allowed me to work my whole life and buy and sell what I can afford. I just don't support the blatant abuse of it in audio or any other sector of products. Stop Projecting so much and reading things into what I said.
You can't have it both ways. Capitalism is not a buffet where you pick and choose what part of it you want to put on your plate and rail against the parts you don't like. You can't take back the words you have written about capitalism on AS-they are there for all to see and read. Anybody with a brain in their head can read what you have said on this thread and the Magico Pricing thread that was closed and form and opinion about your comments on capitalism. Maybe you should change your AS name to Shadowfacts because you don't really have any facts. Mr. Moralilty would make a good second choice for your name.
That would have been a good first choice. It's also rich coming from a guy who spends close to $37K on speakers and drives them with a $5K all in one. Isn't that just too much for a pair of speakers? Where again does the Common Sense kick in?
