Man, I just sat down from tweaking things and sitting here listening to My God, on Jethro Tull’s Aqualung (FLAC 24bit/96KHz) and honestly cannot believe what I am hearing. It’s like Ian, his flute, and band could be here.
The week began moving my Wilson Alexia’s (still on wheels for a few weeks yet) with more moving of inches today. I then played with the Stillpoints ensuring they are located under power supplies, transformers transports. I properly connected the grounding wire into the power on my Nordost Q/Kore (Simply amazing). I went through my cables cleaning them with Nordost EXO 3 X and tidying them best possible at this point, not sure what the EXO 3 X did but it is supposed to remove static.
I repurposed some unused Stillpoints Minis under my Vienna Acoustics center channel speaker for the HT system since I was already working, and that made a difference.
I put about 75 hours of burn in last week on the Aurender N10, kicking this now just over 200 hours.
Oh yes, can’t forget that I updated my incoming internet connections, removed a second modem and routers to clean up the streaming. I removed Apples Time Capsule which was serving as a switch to the Aurender and now have no issues with Tidal.
Now I am done for the night, gonna sit here and may pour some fuel on ice and think about Nordost Odin Power cables.
Hope this gives ideas for cold rainy days.
