Man, I just sat down from tweaking things and sitting here listening to My God, on Jethro Tull’s Aqualung (FLAC 24bit/96KHz) and honestly cannot believe what I am hearing. It’s like Ian, his flute, and band could be here.

The week began moving my Wilson Alexia’s (still on wheels for a few weeks yet) with more moving of inches today. I then played with the Stillpoints ensuring they are located under power supplies, transformers transports. I properly connected the grounding wire into the power on my Nordost Q/Kore (Simply amazing). I went through my cables cleaning them with Nordost EXO 3 X and tidying them best possible at this point, not sure what the EXO 3 X did but it is supposed to remove static.

I repurposed some unused Stillpoints Minis under my Vienna Acoustics center channel speaker for the HT system since I was already working, and that made a difference.

I put about 75 hours of burn in last week on the Aurender N10, kicking this now just over 200 hours.

Oh yes, can’t forget that I updated my incoming internet connections, removed a second modem and routers to clean up the streaming. I removed Apples Time Capsule which was serving as a switch to the Aurender and now have no issues with Tidal.

Now I am done for the night, gonna sit here and may pour some fuel on ice and think about Nordost Odin Power cables.

Hope this gives ideas for cold rainy days.

Sounds like you're really making some nice improvements. As things continue to break in, you will achieve even greater success.

the other day i repostioned my speakers extremely accurately and it made such a difference and cost me nothing . i am a tweaking addict and love to improve sound with little tweaks

So today, I took the day off work or what I consider off, after coordinating an install for tweaking and spiking the speakers months after I set things up.

So following up to this thread, it’s member support, along with Sunny Merchant - Sunnys Audio and Stirling Trayle - Installation Guru, the casters are gone, and the Wilson spikes are under the Alexia’s making a profound difference along with various settings of the mid and tweeter.

We spent over 5 hours today and honestly can say it was so worth it - I am very happy 🤪

Goes to show, be patient, make the most of what you have and benchmark the performance level to help you plan your audio journey.

Happy Listening to All!
