80's sound vs. modern sound. Which one sounds better?

In below 2 videos, which video sounds better? 60's or 4K? Do you think the sound is improved?

Hey Alex - interesting topic.

Were the videos produced by the same producer? Just trying to understand the differences of how they were produced. For instance there are music videos I like on YT that I can alter the sound through my video production software I use for reviews and then save a better copy to watch. I'm not sure without understanding the chain behind each of these videos it's a fair comparison.

Again - I understand the topic you are asking about and its interesting. Just trying to understand if we are comparing apples to apples.

I too concerned about the same question before I posted. 4K video is produced by MJ channel. So, they must used a master tape which is the best quality. Older video seems to be a good quality and was uploaded by unknown large scale Spanish channel. There are no other older Beat it video I could find.

There are 4K MJ Thriller and older videos from MJ channel and I could use Thriller instead of Beat it. But some people may not like to see zombies/ugly. So, I choose Beat it.

I heard few other songs for this comparison. And I can clearly hear treats of vintage and modern sounds in Beat it.

Below 2 videos are 4K and older Thriller videos. There I can hear more clearly of vintage and modern sounds.
