50 Best Albums of 2018 according to NPR

I just skimmed 50-41 and the top 10. Not only do I not own any of them, the only one I've heard of before is Janelle Monae.
 
I have not had time yet. I will try to go through the list this weekend. I bet I go 0/50 for having heard any of them. Maybe 2/50 for knowing any of the artists. And, unfortunately, 0/50 for wanting any of the albums.
 
The only one I own is Brandi Carlile's in both digital and vinyl. I have played portions of two others.
 
I only know the Janelle Monae album, but do not own any of them.

There are a lot of female vocalists in the top half of this list. I have the Myra Melford album; quirky but very enjoyable jazz.

Marcin Wasilewski Trio - Live

Shinya Fukumori - For 2 Akis

Elvis Costello - Look Now

Blackberry Smoke - The Southern Ground Sessions.
 
Last night I listened to several of the selections (via Tidal) and was pleasantly impressed by several of them. I added a few more albums to my library. Thanks again Dizzie!
