They haven’t even positioned the speakers and the sound is already AWESOME! I prefer the M2’s with Soulution vs what we heard last month. Can’t wait to get my pair and try with my amps. I’m still here in this room just listening. Dean Martin is sounding magnificent.

Mike, it would appear that the casework on some of the MSB DACs shown above has been refined a bit over what's shown on the MSB website - no?

I don’t think so. They’ve always taken great care with the machining of the casework and the new amps are at a whole new level.

I got to listen to the new amps today. They have no coloration. They are not warm, sweet, dry or liquid. When they say “they don’t have any character of sound”, it’s true. They have transient responses that are out of this world and the BLACKEST backgrounds that can barely be measured. As far as the Select II pushed digital technology, these new MSB amps push amp technology. Take my word, when we start seeing reviews and measurements, these new amps will set a new bar.

I’ll head back up to MSB room soon. Just went to Constellation room and they will have the full Constellation setup that was reviewed in Stereophile this month. They will be showing with Magico M2’s.

Thanks for the reporting, Mike. It should be interesting to see how the two Magico M2 rooms, one with Solution, the other with Constellation, sound different. Magico seems to be well represented also with the M6 there. Do you know if the M3 will be in a room?

Agreed! The two rooms are literally next door to one another too. Alon has the Soulution gear dialed in. He works hard tweaking with cables and such. I will say, the M2’s filled this big Munich show room with wall to wall sound. Can’t wait to hear the M2’s with Constellation.

Well, I'm sure Mr. Wolf will make sure the M6s are dialed in with those new MSB amps. They are quite a departure from the round amps surrounded by heat sinks. I kind of liked those as they reminded me a lot of round versions of Pass Labs old Aleph series of amps. Very form follows function.

Yes the DACs have the tops cut away to showcase the insides, most likely done as demo pieces....
