NAIM Solstice - Turntable, Arm, Cart, Phonostage - complete package

It looks nice Mike...

47 layers of wood... impresive.

I think the only problem is the price... Ajjaj..... let´s see face to face comparison with another turntables on the market.

£16,000....> $22,000.

Yowch!

Rega P10, I'm tellin' ya....

$15,000 saved buys a lot of nice LPs..

Your numbers are not accurate. The Naim includes the table, arm, cart, Phonostage. The P10 with this configuration would be AT LEAST $18k. and that NAIM Phonostage includes a separate PSU. So, the NAIM is quite in line.

Here's some price data in the interest of accuracy: the Rega P10 with table, arm, and Apheta 3 cartridge costs $6695, all in. Pair it with, say, a Zesto Andros II phono stage, which is an excellent phono stage, for ~$5200K. That's just under $11,895.

The P10 alone is competitive with TT's costing 2-3X it's price, in my experience.

Most P10’s are sold with a Aphelion 2 cart ($4995) and Aura MC phonostage ($5995) bringing it in line with the NAIM. It’s with the P8 you see a Aria Mk3 phono and Apheta 3. P10 is a great table no doubt and having the ability to select different carts and Phonostages is a real bonus. Also having options like the P8 helps too. And, the Rega’s aren’t limited in numbers, so no need to worry you can’t get one (other than typical supply chain issues).

The NAIM table is for an all out best of NAIM system. Different approach. Given that Michael Fremer called the NAIM phonostage “among a handful of the best phono preamps I've ever heard", I’m curious how this new one sounds. NAIM brought out of retirement, their lead technical director and chief designer, Roy George for the Solstice product. Very excited to hear this analog system.

And what experience would that be??

what’s the delivery time on it ?
i already have 2 turntables , acutus and lp12, i don’t really need another one . it’s the first time in years that i saw new turntable and said, wow i want one.

i can justify it only because i don’t like my avid as much as the lp12

crazy ???

Lookslike designed byNaim and built by Clear Audio, I'd love to hear one.

Also, to my surprise this is Naim's first TTT offering as I understand it. Interesting now, opposed to when tables were a mainstay. I could be wrong but that says something as to how they feel the future of TT's will be. In contrast Linn stopped making TT's some years back. Anyone know if they opened the factory back up, cleaned off the dust?
