I listen to some Yonder Mountain String Band and Left Over Salmon occasionally.... so not technically bluegrass but newgrass I suppose.

Yeah, not exactly bluegrass. I’d say yes to “new grass”. My favorite bluegrass band is Blue Highway. Incredible musicians, writers, arrangers, and vocalists. Really nice people too. I also really liked The Boxcars when they were still together. Blue Moon Rising is another awesome neo-traditional bluegrass group. Their newest album is one of their best yet.

I like KY bluegrass for a lawn. Bluegrass music is an acquired taste which I haven’t acquired a taste for.

Scruggs and Flatt, Doc Watson, Bela Fleck and Alison Krauss come to mind as being in my collection. Do the Soggy Bottom Boys count?

I never thought of Alison Krauss as being Bluegrass.
