What was the last movie you watched?

If you want to watch a truly great movie, check out Seven Days in May by the late, great John Frakenheimer.

Totally agree!-plus take look at Frankenheimer's "Seconds" with the incredible cinema photography by James Wong Howe:)

I just finished The Green Mile. Again.

Why I continue to watch something that’s so distressingly sad, I’m not entirely sure. Man I miss Michael Clarke Duncan.

CODA. Tremendous film. Won Academy Award for best picture and deservedly so.

We went to see Top Gun Maverick. It was good. Not sure it lived up to the hype, but good none the less.

I watched fourteen peaks. Documentary of how an all Sherpa team climbs all fourteen 8,000 meter Himalayan peaks (with supplemental oxygen) in one climbing season. Outstanding footage and very inspiring, especially if you’re a mountaineer like me.

We watched this last night. One of the best films I have watched in a while. Emilia Jones studied ASL for 9 months to do this film. At times her vocals sounded eerily like Norah Jones (Duet Scene) so I had to look that up. No relation but her father was a singer and performer. Emilia should pursue a career in singing and would blow away many of today's mainstream lip syncers. Unfortunately I could not get the sub titles to work properly on the copy I got so had yo use some wild imagination during most of the signing scenes. Accept for 1 or two songs, the music was all Motown inspired. If Emilia didn't steal the show, the whacky music teacher did.

If you like Music in your Movie, I highly recommend watching this one.

Watched Saving Private Ryan. That's what the crowd picked. This was a day for the theatre to shine and it did in spades. I was surprised at how many big actors were in this.

Watched The Northman the other day. It was just terrible. Don't waste your money.
It currently is the butt of all our jokes as to how bad it was.

Perhaps Sylvester Stallone's latest "Samaritan" on Amazon Prime Video can unseat The Northman! Samaritan was so bad it was laughable; wooden performances, mind numbingly stupid dialog. This went on for 1 hour 45 minutes. Based on the story line it should have last 1 minute and 45 seconds (including credits, assuming someone would want to take credit for this steaming mound or is that "streaming" mound?).

That's seriously bad. I'm steering clear. Thanks for the tip.
