    Aoife O'Donovan - Livestream Saturday 4/25 6pm PT/9pm ET

She's a terrific singer, often featured on "Live From Here" on NPR. Which I only listen to when the cable is out and I can't get Fox News, Rush, Laura, etc. ;) https://found.ee/aoifeathome

    Internet Radio

Has anyone ever compared an inexpensive internet "tuner" (like the one in an Aurender) to a more expensive one such as a Magnum Dynalab? I'm particularly interested if there's any difference when using their respective digital signals into a fairly nice DAC/Preamp combination. I'm sure...

    American Roots

If anyone is interested in Americana, and the evolution of music in America, the new PBS series "American Epic" has been excellent so far. I'm happy that Jack White (and Third Man Records) is so heavily involved, and already planning to release a series of LPs based on these long-forgotten...

    Benchmark DAC2 HGC Experience?

Has anyone heard the new Benchmark DAC? Any experience would be helpful, but if anyone has listened to it and the Mytek, that would be most helpful. Thank you

    Greetings from Montpelier, Vermont

I'm very glad Mike decided to take the big leap with a new site. I guess his job and his audio hobby weren't already taking enough of his time, so he needed another passion. I look forward to getting to know everyone here. Jon

    Fremer's System

"For What It's Worth" on VH1 Classics (337 on DirecTV) takes a trip to Michael Fremer's home to explore the difference between digital and analog files. They also take a trip to Jack White's record store in Nashville on another episode, which was pretty interesting.
