Still a Viola and B&W fan? I ask you this because I suspect most Viola users can be found in Asia. When using clean current delivered by Ansuz power cords and distributors even the Viola Fortes I have appear to be more than capable. Even early digital records spring to life.

Hi Mordante, I also use the Cammino Phono series 1 interlink, funny. That one I bought from the Dutch importer Old School Hifi (Hoek van Holland). Should be a bargain.

I was looking for some feedback on Avalon speakers. Why dariovend got zero response on his request?? Has Avalon been skipped from all wanted lists? 30/25 years ago the Avalon Ascent or Eidolon had been hailed as some of the very best on the market. How do they compare to current hotshots like...

10 years after the start of this thread I can confirm that Ansuz (C) is still very good and synergistic with their power distributors (I bought a very pricey D-TC)which had an amazing effect on the sound quality . As these cables cost a small fortune (even second hand) it is wise to use them...

Hi Mordante, yes I know A10 very well. I bought my Thales Simplicity 2 from him. Before I have been a customer of Mr. Pruijs (Platine Verdier, Cello).

Last year I switched from Fourier Panteres (huge Class A OTL mono's taking 600 Watts (230 Volts) per hour per channel when idling) to Viola Fortes. The Violas with their A/B circuit take only a fraction of the room and watts. I think the Viola's, I never switch off, are soundwise (also) top...

If we are on memory lane: who still uses Cello gear? I know that (15 years ago) in Hong Kong these amps were in very high demand. Prices exceeded the new price.. Is this still the case?

Thanks for the confirmation of the Viola class. Apart from the Fortes I still use the Cello Audio Suite including all Viola updates for almost 40 years now without hick-ups. Also great stuff indeed. I still can''t believe this has evaporated without any trace. I cherish an email from the company...

What happened to the Viola Audio Laboratories brand?? Their website is down for over a year now and the phone is also dead. Is there anybody in the US who can give some information? I use 2 Fortes I like very much.

I have installed a Gigawatt 16p (made in the USA) circuit breaker in my dedicated electrical 240 circuit. Very cost effective!
