    So how old is your "oldest" component?

    The oldest piece of working gear is my Philips B5X44A stereo receiver from 1963. Nice cross between tubes used in the amp section and transistors used for the stereo decoder. Also has the (in)famous 800 Ohms AD3800AM speakers.
