Yeah, mine does too! I have also noticed that the remote batteries are fussy as to how they are installed. Just placing the batteries in place will cause the remote to malfunction. You must slide the batteries into the front bottom first. ozzy

Thanks for the replies. I have read that these diffusors work well behind Planar speakers that is why I am interested. Not sure what the results would be though, I do not want to accent the mids/highs. ozzy

Mike thanks, you have told me this before, but can the GIK Q11 diffusors perform even better? BTW, I have noticed in some of your Clarisys video/demos that there was some sort of plastic behind them. Were they for diffusion? I guess I am seeking some opinions about using the Diffusions panels...

Clarisys Speakers and Diffusion panels. I really like my Minute speakers, I have found that absorption type panels deadened the sound. But I wonder about the usage of some type of Diffusion behind the speakers. I did try some cheapo diffusors form Amazon and it sounded bad. So, they do do...

mulveling, Thank you for the additional information. I did buy the 1007 version, and it was still quite tight getting my 8–9-gauge wire in. And I must say using the very microscopic screws for the outer shells was quite challenging. ozzy

I have found that the 1007 is part of the 1000 series. All the 1000 series are made from red copper while the 500 series use purple copper, which is supposed to be not as pure as the red copper. ozzy

I think I read that the Michi 8 was designed by British and Japanese engineers but was manufactured in China. I myself am very impressed with its build and sonic quality. ozzy
