Thanks, it is a concrete floor with a thin carpet (no padding). To remove the Iso-Acoustics spikes from under the JL F-113 subs would be a challenge for this old guy. But I would if it would improve the subs performance. ozzy

Do you guys recommend (with The Iso-Acoustics Titan) using the spikes underneath for subs? ozzy

After trying just about every power cord I could. I now have all AudioQuest Dragon- that is: interconnects, speaker cables and power cables. I guess you can tell which I prefer? ozzy

So after back and forth many times, I am now of the mindset that though the bass is much more prominent with the front subs with the 180-degree setting, I think the bass is more bloated, the 0 setting though less, is truer. ozzy

Thanks. I have the crossovers set at 40hz. and at a low-level volume. I still wonder about the speakers radiating sound behind them as well as in front if that is what makes the 180-degree phase setting work so well. ozzy

I have 4 JL Audio F-113 Fathoms in the corners of my room and I discovered that placing the 2 that are behind the Clarisys speakers (front wall) to a phase setting of 180 degrees greatly improves the bass performance and soundstage for that matter. The other 2 subs that are behind me and in the...

I will say this. Wklie has been very helpful to me and many others regarding Lumin set up and performance issues. Not sure of the real rational behind his removal from this forum, but it is a mistake. ozzy
