Question: Could a phono stage pre-amp be constructed using a pair of dissimilar triodes such as the 6DE7? I know 12AX7s and 6DJ8s are the norm, but was just curious. I've an idea. What about the 6DE7 as a driver tube for a pair of 6146s in P-P? Thanks
