To me, John Atkinson laid out the perfect blueprint for all to see: subjective followed by objective. Brilliant and extremely valuable. Not easy to do, but always so good. His schit dac and devore reviews are ones I won’t ever forget.
As I mentioned in another post, I don’t give a flying crap if reviewers get long term loans or free stuff or whatever. If they make a piddly $300 for a review as Lee says or they’re performing as a professional whistler, then maybe there should be some other perks. I know I’m in the minority...
Ignore that place. It’s the same 20 guys saying the same thing over and over again all trying to one up one another.
Here’s a thought: YOU go and experience new music, amps, speakers, turntables, whatever and report back. THAT is interesting.
Get a proper, reputable CPA firm and let them handle it. I have zero patience for this stuff. Pay the bean counters and let them deal with it. Money well spent.
