I have been enjoying the upgrade and the player is still breaking. the K03XD was sounding very good after a year but the K01XD SE is a step up. I don't know if it's the added transformers or capacitors but even out of the box it is more detailed and has better delination of instruments...

That's an interesting observation. I am upgrading from a K-03XD to a K-01XD SE. There seems to be a gap in Esoterics clocks. They go from a G-05 clock ($5k) to a G-01XD at $14K. I guess I will stick with the standard K-01XD SE unless the gap is filled or there is good deal on G-01XD.

I understand that Luxman will be coming out with a new SACD player the D-07X and it will be less expensive than the D-10X. Anyone else have any knowledge or details?
