Recently picked up a bargain pair of m30.1s and am freakin loving them! Just fantastic! Its weird because I owned a pair of SHL5s a couple years back and while I thought they were nice they never thrilled me. These 30.1s do. My PMC fact 12s aren't going anywhere as I love them dearly...

Anyone ever own one or currently own one? I've been curious since Sam Tellig (Gillet) reviewed the baby ref a couple years ago. I know the placette passive preamp which I have owned was very interesting indeed. Would love to hear a music first preamp in my home.

I won't argue. Ironically the stands I used when I owned harbeth SHL5s was a more open wood stand. A gorgeous pair of stands created for me by Chris Futrick of TimberNation.
