I had a pair of Naim SBL that I initially ran passively, then “upgraded” my then Naim/Linn system to run them active. The SBL were interesting design/engineering, could sound thrilling when set up in right room, and utterly crappy if not. No in between. Eventually I got tired of all the boxes...

After a recent move, and not having system for quite a long time, it is all slowly coming back together. Things are more or less plonked down for now, and plenty of tweaking to happen.

My old flat-earth system, simple, fun. Linn LP-12 with K9 cartridge, Naim Nait 1 integrated, Linn Kans. Should have left it at that, money ahead by a long shot, and would still have that fun factor. Sigh….

I have read little bits and pieces with nothing conclusive, is this piece being, or is now discontinued? I see it is still listed on Lumin products page, and I am highly interested in this, it would be a great fit for one of my systems, at a price that is very doable! I like the features it has...
