As my question indicated, I've read Bryston's post about DSD and understand its reasoning. But, my primary question remains unanswered: What array of Bryston components, with mod SSD, would match, without DSD, a Sony HAP-Z1ES? What advantages would the Bryston components have? Thanks for any help.

What array of Bryston components, with mod SSD, would match a Sony HAP-Z1ES? What advantages would the Bryston components have? I know Bryston was not an early and enthusiastic supporter of adding DSD capability into its components? Is that still true?

As a prospective purchaser of Bryston products, I parenthetically,might mention that I really appreciate the informative, relaxed style of this particular site and the participation of James Tanner. I wonder when Bryston, as an advocate of USB use, is going to migrate from the outdated USB 2.0...
