I saw a pair listed just now. Once a product gets discounted there are people who tend to sale and move to something new. Not everyone but some. I tend to see used gear sell lower than new gear, and discounted gear selling lower than used gear. Just my observation.

The tariff discussion was around the Magico speakers. Today there isn't a 100% tariff on every product from China. Now that might change but that isn't the case today.

Can you please let us know where you get the 100% tariff on China already in effect. I know there is a 100% tariff on Chinese EVs but I don't believe Magico is in that business. Given all of this I might need to jump on a used pair of M2 and be done with it.

Anyone know the price? I see a few M2 on the used market and have been eyeing a pair.

Home broadband service is a shared media. This is why ISP can offer it at such a good price. If you are looking for a dedicated 1 Gbps service it will cost you a lot more than $65 a month. Now I wish I had the option of 1 Gbps for $65 a month. Very nice.

I agree. The 100% trade up policy was the deciding factor for me getting into MSB. It provided me an excellent opportunity to move up the line, and it allowed MSB to keep it customers.

This was the case until MSB came out with the Cascade. When this happened MSB cut the trade in value for the Reference and Select. You can search the forums if you like to read all of the discussions on this. Sounds like if you go from a Cascade to the upcoming Sentinel they are back to 100%...

Hmm I thought this when I first purchased MSB. Three months after upgrading to the Reference MSB killed the trade in value. But no need to rehash old news.

OK I'm thinking of moving up the MSB line. I currently have a Premier DAC. I came across a used 7 year old Select II (Single PS) DAC that I can get for close to the same price of moving to a new Reference. I'm leaning towards the new Reference but a Select II would be nice. Thoughts?
