Why would there be discounted M3? Magico hasn't offered a replacement for M3. I can't see M3 coming on to the used market if there is no replacement model offered.

The matt stainless accent looks terrific. Those Sentinel DAC modules look like something out of the Apollo Guidance Computer.

The quality of the interconnect cable determines the end result, not so much which interface.

I remember that being said about K1X and D1X and P1X but I haven't seen anything about K-series or N-series getting the SE upgrades. My dealer has shown only luke warm interest (at best) in selling me a VUK-D1X upgrade.

There is no way Esoteric would roll out a VUK upgrade for the US market only. It would be a world wide release. I wonder, with the recent release of the network module G4 whether there is plan to release an upgrade for N-01XD SE which includes the new network module?

There has been no announcement from Esoteric Japan about SE upgrade for N-01XD.

I'm not aware of Esoteric ever offering VUK upgrade for K-series components. As far as I know it's only offered for Grandioso.

Your guess is correct. Esoteric engineer agrees with you! But the Grandioso player is more than just better power supply compared to a K series player.

I wasn't aware of that. It's still listed on the Magico product pages on the website. We haven't had a single M-series speaker upgraded to a Mk2 version.

You'd think they'd tread on the toes of M3 at a cheaper price point.
