I have a good CD transport (Esoteric Grandioso) and a good network transport (Esoteric Grandioso). They both sound the same. Hence why I don't use the CD transport any more.

A dedicated CD transport brings no advantage over streaming.

No difference at all, the cable you use will have more of an influence than the interface itself.

I've asked Esoteric many times now when P1XSE solo will be released but they are not saying. You'd think it would be a trivial exercise for them to do a single box SACD transport in Grandioso or K series..

This is interesting, N1 has 2 x connector for external DC power supply. The question for me is whether N1 + PS1 is as good as N1T + D1XSE.

We have no information on pricing for the Spotify lossless. The Spotify premium has been increased by $2 per month commencing the next billing cycle. My Qobuz free three month trial will conclude soon. I cancelled my Spotify subscription due to the price increase, and I am not going to continue...

Lossless is about to drop, this appeared in my Spotify this morning.

I checked. Lossless not available in Australia yet.

The bits are only half the story. The other half is timing.
