I'd be surprised if they do. K-03XDSE already has the Master Sound Discrete Clock for Digital Player and upgraded DAC. There is more room to upgrade the K-05XD as it does not have the Master Sound Discrete Clock for Digital Player. Esoteric might prefer to sell new versions of these entry level...

If I were an XD owner I would just take the changeover price as a hit on the chin and upgrade to the XE. The upgrades that Esoteric put in the new model are substantial. The G4 network module is terrific. I haven't heard the DAC G2 but Esoteric tells me in most systems you will not hear any...
