CJ amps I presume? How well do they drive the MBL? Also is the subwoofer sitting right behind one of the amps?

Mike
I'm really surprised at pairing CJ with MBL. I have spoken with MBL dealers and reps in three countries and that was a pairing that seemingly would have been shied away from. Even my 111f's weren't optimum with 1.2k's.

IU must say he is a fortunate guy too get the 101e MK II's.

It’s temporary. MBL electronics will be coming on loan.

The 101e mk2s are gorgeous. Now that’s a music system.

I’ve always liked MBL speakers. What a thrill to own a new pair of 101e mk2’s

I’ve listened to the 101E Mk2’s on several occasions and they were highly impressive sounding. They are on my short list of top speakers under $100K.

You can buy the 101E Mk2s with the Noble Line electronics and never look back.
It is a dream system for the 'normal' listening room.
If you own a castle, I would suggest the MBL 101 X-Treme + Reference system components.

What's a center line?

The speakers are 360 degrees radiating, but they still have a center point like a traditional speaker and then the rest of the sound is delayed by a millisecond or two.

Hey Mike,
What is your preferred/typical center to center distance between the speakers and the distance from speaker to the listener?
