Don’t you have the N15 at home too? How do the 9008 compare to the N15 all other factors equal?

Also, what kind of amp stands are those? (They look extra long).

Yes, I have four N15’s and the N11 pre at home. Switched to two 9008’s (840 watts/channel) and the 6010D pre. Just started listening. But so far, BIG improvement. What you would expect from the big REF amps and preamp.

The amp stands are Quadrasphire SVT. I have to use two for each amp. LOL!

Just started listening. See above. The sound is big and effortless. The separation is superb. Very natural sounding. 840 watts/channel transforms the system into an effortless presentation.

Don’t let Ritmo listen to this combo, resistance will be futile. :D

Ken - Mike and I spoke last evening. I'm waiting for an invitation... :exciting:

We have an extra pair of 9008’s in storage. Should I have my guys bring them over? :naughty:

Well, he did! Darn it, and I kept the 6010D and 9008As. No doubt the power and synergy with the 101E MK2s is incredible.

Mike is not allowed to bring anymore equipment to try in my home. If this continues, I may have to leave retirement and go back to work!

Awesome news Mike. The music must be flowin' so nice on that system, I can only imagine!

Jazz sounds so good...currently enjoying Brad Mehldau’s Blues and Ballads album. Brad and his group are in my music room.
