Still one pair left gents... (Lampi/KR Anniversary 5U4G)
Mike, did you ever receive the EML 274.
If so, what was your opinion on it?
Anyone else’s comment is welcome on this tube.

Mike, for clarification you are talking NOS/OEM WE274B's, not the Pvanes, right?

Caelin,
Feedback from a pal in fürstentum Liechtenstein :
"In the beginning I wasn't too fond of the EML 274b mesh but with some
serious hours of burn-in, it got a lot better and grew on me. I still prefer
the KR 5u4g by a margin but I prefer the EML over all the others I have.
So EML is my no 2 recti from the ones I heard."

Rectifiers burn at full volume weather you play of not it’s a good idea to turn them off or put in the a SS recti
Hi Swisstrips
You are right, the output tubes are only used very gently. They can last decades like that
And now for my curiosity:
What 300B tubes do you use?
Have you also tried some other tubes like KR 242 or KR PX25? Or the unobtainium EML 45 mesh anniversary globes?
@Al
The (initial) Lite7 doesn't have tube rectification. So nothing to worry here.
@Swisstrips
My experience so far with Lampi DACs is that they sound quite a lot better with tube rectification. If your Lite7 should have to go home to Poland, maybe you could ask Lukasz to incorporate tube rectification in your Lite7. That would be a worthwhile sonic upgrade
