Sweet sounding unit. 250 watts/ch. Fabulous sounding internal DAC. A steal at $6k

We just tried the Aqua La Voce with Lumin U1 mini into the 390 and it was excellent. Basically a $12k ish total setup (not including speakers or cables). We are using the Harbeth 30.2’s and it sounds awesome.

Roon enabled coming for the 390 and 590. Soon!

This sounds like a piece that would be perfect for bluegrass. This would be all he needs to make his Harbeth speakers sing plus it has a built in DAC and he’s ready to stream digital.

Very nice Mike! We sure like the H190 and H590 we display....even the little H90 as well. Haven't had a chance to play with a H390 yet. But, performance for the money with their integrated amps is extremely impressive.

Thanks. Agreed. The 590 and this 390 are outstanding.

Mike, how warm or hot do the Hegel 360, 390 and 590 run at normal listening volumes of say 70-80db with speakers having 85 to 90db sensitivity?

....no, I'm not referring to the infamous flaming Hegel [emoji3]

I'm not Mike, but I can tell you our H590 runs at about 105-110F (40-45°C).

I used the h360 to drive the salon 2's and thermal protection kicks in before the outer case gets as warm as all the other amps I use/d. I think hegel took care of the overheating problem, btw when the protection kicked in I was rockin +100 db. another pair I had that were only rated 87 1m1w I never even turned the dial past 55.
