I heard an interview with the curator of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, where he said that this performance from 2004 in a tribute to George Harrison was arguably the greatest guitar solo in history. Prince comes on stage at ~3:25 in and it’s pretty unbelievable. Well worth the few minutes of your time it will take to watch it. May he rest in peace, eternally jamming with other musical legends.

Can not understand why the accolades.
Can not understand why the accolades.
Can not understand why the accolades.
Kuoppis - Because he found a way to make lots of money doesn't make him a genius. I have no contempt for him. I wish i had been fortunate enough to make that kind of money. He taught himself piano and guitar, hired others to make the real music while he fronted the band. He left no legacy. Beethoven was a genius, he was not. I see you've put together a high priced rig.... I suspect you too have found a way.
Kuoppis....I can play in this sandbox as well as anyone ..... better than most. This is supposed to be a place of discussion, not ridicule. Tell me why his music deserves accolades...that what my original post was all about. Go into depth...I have a PHD in musicology...I will understand.
