Jay's Audio Journey

It’s interesting. I think he will keep these for a while. Where would he go? That’s what I keep wondering.

ALEXX V's ? would be an interesting comparison.

Good to have you, Jay. Please keep sharing your experiences.

I agree, taking a look at gear from an actual ownership perspective is very interesting for many of us, whilst we’re progressing on our own journeys.

Outside the circle of professional reviewers and dealers only very few of us can have a meaningfull opinion of the relative quality difference of various components - IMO. We listen to set ups at hifi shows with unknown rooms, unknown music and inknown components - for me at least I can honestly say that it would not make any real difference if they use the biggest or smallest Constellation or D'Agostino amps for example.

Agree with Kuoppis here - I value the opinion of owners with a history of different set ups with real comparisons.

BTW - Now I know why Mike was posting on the Aurender thread in the middle of the night!

Happy Easter everyone

thank you... stay tuned today for part 2 of the video i did with Mike. Sorry for putting him on blast and you all should know this interview was completely unplanned!
Mike was great

I think Mike did great for this unexpected interview , also when we know that he had a really long day behind him. Seems to me from this that it can pay to actually have better loudspeakers and maybe save a bit on amplifiers when one has to choose where to put most of the money. !

Amplifiers is how I made my name and i will say that Gryphon has been one of the most jaw dropping Amplifiers I've ever owned. Gryphon Amplifiers to me will always be part of my journey.

Thank you Jay , and yes have been thinking to see if i could get a listen to some Gryphon amps....not as easy as one would think :)
