Also, if the mono amps are out of reach. We can assume, perhaps later this year or next , that the stereo version will arrive to replace the Grandioso S1.

I bet it will be called S1X :)
 
I don't know if the C1X supports simultaneous output of ES-L and XLR. If it doesn't, if you connect the C1X>M1X with ES-L you won't be able to use a subwoofer (unless the subwoofer has a high level input).
 
11 TC is owned by Klipsch. Not much (if anything) will change.

I've certainly had concerns with the people at Onkyo, apparently when they ship you the wrong color its your fault. But this is going back years now. I assumed you had experienced issues with them as well, it appears you have not. Maybe Ill order something and see how it goes.

I’d like to know when the M1X becomes available. I’ll be interested as an early adopter to find a demo pair to see what improvements are lurking sound wise.

Was just browsing the Esoteric website and saw this on the M1X page:

Notice of Delay in the Release of Grandioso M1X

We would like to take this opportunity to apologize for the inconvenience caused by the delay in the release of the Grandioso M1X to our customers and other related parties.

As we hasten to procure parts that are difficult to obtain, we've been continuing to examine the model's circuitry with a view towards using alternative parts and have decided to advance the design, including circuitry changes, as we see the possibility of further improvement in sound quality.

This design change will result in changes to the appearance, specifications, etc. that were previously announced. However, we are confident that we will be able to deliver the Grandioso M1X with even higher performance and sound quality.

We will keep you informed regarding the model's availability.
