Perfect feature set IMHO. As a Meitner owner in the past I would be keen to hear it or learn about what others think.

I’ve got the first one on the way. It’s a >$10K all in one, just plug in an Ethernet cable (with Roon) and it has a great pedigree. Add an amp and speakers and go. The built in VC takes care of the preamp needs in an all digital system.

Very interesting product.

I was hoping that we would see a new Meitner product as EMM Labs dacs start at 30K US MSRP now. At least that is my understanding.

That being said, I wonder if will see an EMM Labs version ? Aka a 20K DA2 V2 +NS1 in one box.

To compare to Esoteric N01XD

Speaking of, hope they release a successor to the N05 (XD?)but, with the new FPGA.

I'm not sure I need the volume control of the Meitner/EMM product.

Can it be disabled?

Although you don't need or require an External Clock , like you would or can add with an Esoteric

wow! mouthwatering:)

color matches the taiko perfectly. at least on the pictures.
beating everything already fresh out of the box?

It’s identical color! Identical.

I’m using the Taiko Extreme to break in the MA3 since the Roon certification is still a “few weeks away”.

First impressions, a VERY VERY different sound for EMM/Meitner. This has all the detail you would expect and want, but it’s smooooooth on top. Dynamic. Punchy. Bass is excellent. I hate to call it a home run so early, but daaaaaaamn! I look forward to putting some hours on this baby and hearing it open up.

I’m using the Boulder 1110 preamp, so not testing the VC of the MA3.
