Thank you Marcin. They look amazing. I'd love to hear them.

[emoji106][emoji106]I absolutely love my Siltech cables. Best cables I've ever owned or heard. Period. [emoji106][emoji106]

Just wow!!

(I would mask the serial numbers in your pics to prevent the counterfeiters from copying your number.)

These are the best cables in the world, absolutely. Congrats!

Looks like that cable set costs more than the stereo itself. I have to admit, wish I could justify them. I am sure I would like the results.

I would absolutely love to do an A/B comparison. I wonder if I can get a two weekend evaluation period. :)
If you mean a comparison between Shunyata & Siltech, I'd look at the price of the Siltech first, the reason being you will want them, I have both & am trying to sell the full Shunyata Anaconda loom.

The idea being are they twice, three, etc. times better to justify the bling factor, or maybe just slightly different sounding.

They sound nothing like any other cable I've ever owned. It has to be the silver/gold composition among other things. Even their 550 or 770 cables which are priced similar to other cables just sound like nothing else.

You say that like it's a good thing. If something sounds that different, wouldn't your first inclination be that it's coloring the sound more than any other cable you've previously tried? Neutral cables shade to small degrees one way or another. Wildly colored cables, on the other hand, change the sound dramatically.

Have you tried Siltech in your system?

Yes indeed. Now will you answer the question I posed in post #15?

Cables are used to fine tune a system. Just like different tubes in an amp. For example, if you have an aggressive tweeter, you can find a cable to tame it a little. If you need a bit more bass in your room, there are cables for that too. Need to bring out the mids a little? Cables for that too. TaraLabs comes to mind.

If someone wants to stick to strict neutrality, than the all copper Kimber Select fits that bill.

I love what Siltech does in MY system.

What cables do you use?

I agree with most of what you said. Cables represent legitimate tuning options. I don't agree with your assessment of Kimber Select. Neutral is not how I would describe it. In fact I don't like anything about it.

I didn't like what Siltech did in my system. As you suggested, it changed the sound significantly and not for the better. It was a bit of a dog's breakfast, actually--it projected at certain frequencies, receded at others and I found it both glary and bright.

I use Transparent XL Reference MM2.
