Hey Mike, just got your email and happy to join. Actually on vacation in Florence and getting sporadic email and net service, but figured I'd try to jump right in and join up. Love the concept, and seems like a good crew already forming. We visited the Pagani auto factory a few days ago, and it seems like Mr Pagani is an audiophile too. When I get back I'll try to post some pictures of the prototype Pagani audio system he had on display. A work of Italian art.

Ciao...Jeff

Thanks Mark. My second time as well, and I feel the same way, Viva Italia! My God, but the food here is really something else. Incredible. Visiting my daughter who is studying here for spring semester and we've basically eaten ourselves silly. Ribolitta, Bisteca Fiorentina, freshly made pastas, Chingiale (wild boar). OMG! Last meal is tonight then we head home tomorrow. Only good thing is I come home to my new Krell S1200 processor.

Jeff - have a great time. Italy is on my bucket list. I'd have to make my way to the Ferrari manufacturing plant and the Sonus Faber plant.

We love traveling in Italy. The food, the scenery, the historical sites, the food, the food, well I think you get the message. I have never visited any of the Italian specialty automakers. You are a fortunate fellow. Enjoy.

Jeff, one of my favorite meals there was Bucatini with wild boar sauce, mangia !!!

Hopefully I will get some pictures up soon, but we visited the Pagani factory (really a small workshop where they handbuild these things, even to the extent of making their own carbon fiber from layers and layers of the stuff), the Lamborghini factory (much more high tech and much larger, but still mostly hand made), and the Ferrari Museum (they dont let you into the factory, unless you buy one I guess :)). Sure wish I could afford any of them, LOL.

I'm jealous of you right now... Oh, did you get a chance to see those SF goes into the Pagani?? :D

Jeff...hope you enjoyed your trip to Italy. Been there four or five times (combinations of Rome, Florence, Milan, Venice, and Sardinia each time ) and each time I wish I could stay there forever. Great to just hang out and destress. Have a good trip back.
