State of Confusion
I'm planning on moving to another location for the summer. Although at this point it seems temporary, the long term forecast looks like it could be permanent. I'm renting a U-Haul on Tuesday to move most of my stuff and packed up my stereo equipment today. I'm looking forward to the move but I'm a bit distressed about not being able to listen to music, other than my car or an iPod, for about two weeks. Even my lovely wife said, "What are we going to do for music?" Bless her heart!

Here's my baby waiting for her new home...

I'll post new pics when I get settled in. I'm hoping to get some feedback as to placement, etc...

Doug...good luck with the move. What is the saying about distance making the heart grow fonder? You will be that much more in love with your system when you unpack it a few weeks from now and hear it all over again in your new home. Best of luck to you and your wife and family with this move

Doug, I could tell you a true story, about being without my sound system for seven months every year for about twenty years, but I won't. :D

...You'll live because there are so many other beautiful things to look at in your surrounding world, plus all the beautiful people to talk to. :)

Thanks guys. I know I'll survive until things get back up and running. Now that spring is here and summer right around the corner, there are plenty of outdoor activities that keep me busy. In Michigan, you need to take time to get outside and enjoy all that nature gives, because the warm weather doesn't seem to last for very long.

As a bonus once I get unpacked I'll be ordering my analog gear!

Doug...this too shall pass and you'll love the system once hooked up in its new home. Recently I was without my system for almost 7 months due to my home renovation so I know all too well how you feel. You'll be listening soon during the meantime keep us updated.

I have to yank your crank on this: :P :P

I could tell you a story about having my systems stored at a friend's house for SIX YEARS while I was getting a divorce, but I won't do that either!

Two weeks? HA! Take a pill. :D I don't have it for two weeks when I take a trip, and I'd rather be home listening than living out of a suitcase someplace anyday.

Ha! Gary, all you had to do was upgrade, receipts are a wonderful thing, they have dates on them...

All the best with the move Doug, it's all good...:bonkers::bonkers::snicker:
