I didn't know you were a Cure fan Joe. :coolyeah: I think their early stuff is fantastic, if maybe a little depressing at times. Seventeen Seconds and Faith on vinyl...:woot:

I don't even know if Faith is available on vinyl. Boys Don't Cry would be good too. I had so many of those early albums on vinyl back in the day. I wish that I still had it all...

'The Cure'; I got all their earlier stuff. ...Used to be into that. ...I still have them (most on CDs, and few LPs).

Was a good show , but .....let's just say the venue is not my favorite place to go.

It's probably some Robert Smith wannabe that searches the net for all things "The Cure" and hit them from spots all over the world to get his fav band back in the spotlight!
Of course maybe people are searching for the cure to something and it directs them to this thread somehow...

I have every Cure album on vinyl. Love em
Seventeen Seconds is awesome. The singles is a little compressed.
Buy the Disintegration reissue on vinyl before its gone. The Euro pressing is better as a lot of the US pressings have fill so distortion on a few tracks. It is great, sounds better than the original as it is spread over 2 LP's and has 2 extra tracks on it.

Also, it could be from a very "fervent" vinyl fan!
* I know quite well this band; The Cure, and I used to listen and liked them strongly, and still have a bunch of material from them (mostly CDs), but I ain't listening no more to that kind of stuff from the underground acid psychedelia of yesterday's trance of the brain into a world of total emotional insecurity! ...That was good then, when I was still a child from the drug's era, and all that Electronica New Age Rock Psychedelic Alternative Jazz .... But since then I evolved, and my music listening as well; I'm much more into smooth Jazz with a calculated edge this side of the balance between class, sophistication, nature, humanity, and the like.
...And also Classical music of exquisite beauty and calm and power and peace and of the highest intensity this side of emotional impact! ...With a mathematical calculation from written music notes and played to perfection. ...In order to render the exact original intention of the music composer.
Rebel I was, and like any kid I explored with everything available to us at that time and still now.
And/but now I am perfectly balanced with equilibrium, reinvigorated with the true essence of the highest music caliber, and in total control of my deepest and most vibrant emotions. ...In total ecstasy, without any drugs in my system. ...I'm in complete touch with all my surroundings.
The Cure is not a disease, it's just a band with that name.
