Me, I can't wait to get my braces off so I can eat more food varieties!

My small-boat cruise in Alaska's eastern coves from Juneau to Ketchikan. 74 passengers and 26 crew. Kayaking, hiking, skiff riding up-close-and-personal. NO GIFT SHOPS!!! We will get wet and muddy.:woot:

David, I try to live in the moment, but I would say for me, it's looking forward to Christmas season. I don't like all the gifts and commercialization, but I love spending time with friends and family along with charity activities (I don't like to call it "work"). Other than that, I would say getting through all the logistical challenges one normally goes through with the death of a parent or both parents in my case.

You know, my 12 month wish...I get you hang out with Mike at CES2016 or at the very least, meet you in Las Vegas. Big fan of Mike here!

David.......I was fortunate enough to retire at age 60. The best part of these past eight years since that time is the joy that comes from having complete ownership of my time. There is nothing that makes me happier than not giving a damn what time it is or what day it is. I love every minute. My wish for the next 12 months and beyond is that my time on Earth will be lengthy and my health remains good. The rest of it will take care of itself.

Uh lets see......maybe getting my system up but that may be optimistic.

Paul,

Congrats on the ARC Ref 10 Phono Pre!!! This is a huge addition to your system. Combined with the Nordost Valhalla ICs and SCs you recently added, you are almost there my friend!

All the best,
Ken

Annual 2 week scuba trip to the Maldives. We prefer to try a different island every year.

Thanks my friend. Again, you are very observant. You may remember I had the Ref 10 Preamp (not phono) with the Pass XA200.5 before I went Raidho. I felt I needed a Soulution Pre to go with the 501's so I replaced it with the 721 but wanted some tubes early in the chain and went back to ARC for the phono. Now I need to get one of those things that makes the black disks go round-and-round.

Paul, are you actually listening to music?

Mike, as I have said before I get by with an old Rotel/B&W set up I have had for years. I will be setting up my new rig in a new room and no that one isn't up. I know you think I am nuts but I won't fire it up until it's complete......but I am getting close----er.

I get it....you're "aging" your gear. :) When you do fire everything up, my Lord, you will have to have some sort of party, web broadcast, invite the press. It will be quite the event!

I'm looking forward to my regular 4th of July week at the shore, but really looking forward to next May when my wife and I celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We are in the middle of planning a trip to Portland Maine and surrounding areas. ME is another Craft / Micro Brew Mecca and we will be staying within walking distance of many good breweries. We are also booking a Brew Tour where you get on a bus in the morning and visit at least 4 Breweries / Brew Pubs for Tours, Tastings, and Lunch.

A girl I work with has a brother that brews for Oxbow and she will also set us up with a private tour and tasting with him.

I’m not much of a futurist. I think I’ve done pretty much everything I’m supposed to have done….or have I?

In the next 12 months, I think I’m looking forward to:
Learning about a couple of audio things
Discovering more affordable fine audio products
The next Newport show (a do-over so I can improve).
Continuing to attempt to get folks re-engaged with music
Listening to more music
