Lots of great pics in this thread.

I continue to be surprised by my new Canon G7X MKII.

My last 4 photos above were hand held in Auto mode while strolling the grounds of the Naples Botanical Gardens (Orchid, Butterfly & Bugs) or Treveso Bay (Heron pic)

The Ft Worth Water Gardens.
Designed by Philip Johnson.
To smooth out the fast blowing sunset clouds and show the water movement, I elected to use a slow 90 second exposure.

Quote from the movie, "Jeremiah Johnson" -
"....this land is the marrow of the world.
And by God I was right.”
Infinite "liquified" sandstone geological formations and the galactic core of the Milky Way at night.
Vermillion Cliffs area of Arizona.

Remembering my American Alpine Institute expedition to Ecuador 1995.
We summited the 3 highest volcanoes in Ecuador.
Highest was Chimborazo at 20,703ft.

Got high altitude sickness on all 3 summits : hyperventilating, nausea, fatigue.
Kept reminding myself I was on vacation - LOL.
Definitely something I'm proud of, but not much fun.
Difficult to even take photographs on the climbs.

I remembering trying to navigate through these incredible crevasses on this glacier was a little nerve wracking. Trusting in your crampons and ice axe to keep a firm footing!

We were there in October 2018.
Besides not having our luggage for 5 days, it was a great trip!

From a few years ago, shot in Portland, ME. On film using a twin lens reflex... don't remember which one I used.
