Re: Let's see your ride
George, that's a great idea on the black lug nuts. I'll have to do that. The door handles, I would want to have them anodized or powder coated if I was going to do that.
I'm not sure what my brother's plans are for his, but I have lots of plans for mine. Some kind of low key lip spoiler for the front, a 2015/16 Nismo rear spoiler, lower it on Swift springs (1.2" front, 1" rear), 20mm wheels spacers front and 25mm spacers rear, move the rear tires (245/45-18) to the front and get some 275/40-18's on the rear, ported/polished upper and lower intake manifolds, long-tube cold air intakes, bored throttle bodies, keep the stock exhaust manifolds (they're actually equal length headers and flow extremely well), high-flow cats, 2.5" X-pipe and mid-pipes to match up with the 2.5" axle-back exhaust I have showing up tomorrow at work, light-weight flywheel, a Tomei limited slip diff, and a good ECU/dyno tune.
Stock crank hp is 332 (about 284 at the wheels). Doing all of the above would put me around 420 crank hp, or roughly 370 whp.
Of course, I'd upgrade the brakes to slotted/drilled rotors, stainless lines throughout as well as the clutch line, and Carbotech carbon brake pads.Pass Labs XP-20 | Auralic Altair G1 | Odyssey Audio Stratos Monoblocks | JVC XL-Z411 | Nakamichi DR-1 | Technics SL-1700MK2 | Magnepan 1.7i | SVS PB-1000 Pro x 2

Re: Let's see your ride
Since my last posting here, I've done a few of the mentioned mods above. I got in and installed the axle back exhaust. A couple weeks later got in and installed 20mm wheel spacers front and rear. Also, ordered and installed functional fender side repeaters to replace the stock blank ones, and OEM Nissan GT-R map light lenses and GT-R start button.
And just a few days ago I ordered a hand made carbon fiber front lip spoiler, just what I was looking for. Very low profile and low key. It's being made right now and will be shipped straight out of Japan, about a 4 week wait.
And pics of the lip spoiler I ordered. Only about 3 of them state-side, mine being one of those 3!

While there's still some cosmetic work to be done, it handles like a dream and the 1.6 liter four banger will pin you to the back of the seat if you've emptied the cargo bay. For me, this baby dances on the knife edge of performance and practicality.

Re: Let's see your ride
Nice! Twin turbos I imagine.
There's a few twin turbo setups for the Z. They're capable of making similar power on stock internals, between 600-800 whp with 100 octane or E85. Freakin' stout motors to say the least!
I'm just going to keep mine NA. I'll be happy with an extra 70-100 whp. I mean, 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds isn't bad at all for a bone stock $30k V6.

George, Stillen makes a SC kit for the Z as well, pushing about 520 crank hp on pump gas with the stock pulley. A bit less than yours. LOL

Okay, not the beautiful sports cars you guys have, but I've been driving Subaru Outbacks now for a long time and still love them. Excellent for hauling lots of gear! I always do up a nice stereo in them as well and this one is the best I've ever had with even the capability to play up to 24/192 FLAC.

Re: Let's see your ride
First real visit to this thread.
Since it's not as cool as most here, I elected to not worry about finding a cool setting for the photo of my ride.
This is my de-badged and modified WRX in front of my listening room/office building next to our house.
Incidentally, I truly hope that all the performance car owners are enjoying some track time and/or autoXing. How else can you relatively safely explore the limits of your car, not to mention the big one - your personal limits as a driver?

Re: Let's see your ride
Thanks Randy. And if we weren't 3500 miles apart, I'd just might take you up on that. Well, that and it NOT being 100+ degrees outside over there in CA. It's nearly 100 here as well, hence why I wash the car around 8 am... In the shade!
No updates on my system. It's all the same as it was before. I've just been enjoying it for a while, though I haven't touched the turntable since I installed that Ortofon Bronze. Since that time, things have been a little crazy with family and work. Not to mention, messing around with the Z doing research and such. However, now that things are calming down with all of that, I'll be able to settle down and enjoy some vinyl again... Hopefully.
And yes, I noticed the couple tweaks you've done, including the Marantz and Ampzilla. Actually, I was surprised that you got rid of the Wyred amp.Pass Labs XP-20 | Auralic Altair G1 | Odyssey Audio Stratos Monoblocks | JVC XL-Z411 | Nakamichi DR-1 | Technics SL-1700MK2 | Magnepan 1.7i | SVS PB-1000 Pro x 2

Re: Let's see your ride
Well the Ampzilla is a really really nice amplifier.... it is actually built at the Wyred facilities and is considered their higher end lineup... the darn thing is heavy.... over 40 pounds...
BTW--- not over 100 where I live but is not that far from us. Very strange out here... up over the grade (mountain range that goes in land) it is really hot, up in the wine country.... Atascadero, Paso Robles... it is about 30 degrees lower here than up there.McIntosh C49, MC152, MR85, R778 | T+A DAC 8 DSD | KEF LS50 Meta w/S2, KC62 (x2) | Rega RP8, Ania Pro, NEO PSU | Technics SL-1500C | Audio Technica VM750ML | Hexmat Eclipse, Yellow Bird, Molekula, Molekula Mini | Pro-Ject VC-E | Falcon NW PC Server (Roon Core & HQPlayer) | Microsoft Surface Pro 6 (Roon Controller) | Wyred 4 Sound ISO Recovery, DC Recovery | Abyss Diana Phi | Schiit Jotunheim 2 | Astell&Kern SE200 | Oppo BDP105

Re: Let's see your ride
Hey Mike, thanks! If I end up headed out that way, I'll definitely let you know. Now that I'm starting to get a little time freed up, I can probably make some trips outs and around. Just have to have a reason to head out that way. Maybe there's some good roads out that way to cruise around in that you know about.

Re: Let's see your ride
It's hard to take good pics of this, but here it is. Vinyl wrap on the roof to tie in the front and rear glass. I went with the metallic gloss black. Looks great in person and matches the stock wheels perfectly!

Re: Let's see your ride
Looks very sharp. I was thinking to do that to my car but in paint.

I recently purchased a very high-end DAC and now want to use my T2 only as a streamer. I also have a Nucleus+, which I use as my Roon Core. I subscribe to both Qobuz and Tidal. While I understand...
Question using T2 as a streamer...
