Alexandria XLF
Hi, i was just wondering about the XLF, this speaker has been out since 2012, ish, with all other speakers from Wilson getting the makeover treatment, is the XLF in line for a serious upgrade, or are the fazing it out, or even replacing it, if it goes it will leave a big whole in their lineup, not as i can afford a pair, just wondering,

Re: Alexandria XLF
what is the price of the Alexx $120,000, i think the XVX is over $ 320,000, a big gap in the line up, and i really did like the look of the xlf, alexx not seen it in the flesh, but not a good looking speaker, imo

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. From what I understand, the Alexx series 2 (or whatever it is dubbed) will be out in January 2021.

Re: Alexandria XLF
yeah, my dealer already ordered a pair, so january sounds possible.
and yes, series1 is hard to look at.
the gap between alexx and xvx is very big. may be that needs to be filled.
on the other side the xvx filled the gap between whamm and alexx.
not sure how much sense thighter steps would make, every 100k a model for example.
not many people are willing to pay 100k for a speaker. the ones who are looking even above it might not make the big difference anymore whethet it is 200 or 300k

I upgraded the power supply on my Gigafoil v4 to a Weiss PSU 102. It’s very nice step up. But with the new model, you’re looking at $2000 before even investing in a SOTA linear power supply.
