I always wear the Garmin, occasionally wear the others. The 3 left of the Garmin are stored in a self winding box since they are all mechanical so gears don’t lock up.

Rolex 43mm Sea Dweller
This and my Deep Sea James Cameron are my 2 nice watches - love them both!
My first Rolex was back in 1977, when I bought the origina Red Sea Dweller when I was in Barbados.
Paid $550 new!!
No such thing as too big a watch! :P
My Panerai subs are 47mm and Apple Watch is 44mm.
I must admit the steel models can get pretty heavy but titanium models makes them more manageable.
Same I wear most everyday - Apple Watch. My nice watches sit in my dresser unused these days.
present to myself during early Covid, i think im up 15% on my investment since then it was a good buy
It's a Blast!

The legendary Seiko SKX, in this case, SKX009. 179 bucks in 2015.
Non-Hodinkee edition (though Hodinkee has written about SKX's..a lot.)
Entirely "in-house" movement by Seiko. 😜
Modded by me with a double-dome sapphire crystal and a 12 hour ceramic bezel, "Batman" colorway.
Bracelet by Strapcode.

I haven’t worn a watch for decades…
Way back when I was a teenager, the first digital watch appeared. James Bond wore one in “Live and Let die”, and Bill Bixby wore one in a TV show “the Magician.” I worked at the Worlds Fair in Spokane, WA (Expo 74) and was a senior in high school. I saved my $$ and paid $300 for a “Pulsar.” My foster mom at the time really laid into me for spending that kind of money on a watch “you’ll never be able to afford nice things” she said in the most demeaning way possible. That really took some of the joy out of it!
So around early December I noticed the watch is being remade. I got a serious jones for it, had it as a tab in my browser window for a couple weeks. I have a wee-bit more impulse control these days—should I buy one? No, “just a frivolous purchase for nostalgia’s sake” I told myself, and “you don’t even wear a watch.” Yeah, but its so cool and retro. Finally I closed the browser tab and forgot about it. My more practical side had won out.
But, my sweet wife paid attention and under the tree on Christmas morning I got a big surprise.
I’ll guess the chip inside probably has enough tech to land a man on the moon, dumbed down so much to only use the time function. Nobody makes a chip that dumb!
I'm wearing one of my faves from my favorite brand, Sinn. Sinn is a German watch company famous for making no-nonsense tool watches, but they make a very nice range of watches overall. Using Swiss movements, and a typically German level of execution and "take-no-prisoners" approach to their engineering (they have technologies that literally no other brand has), they're my kinda watch company.
Today it's my Sinn 104i Special Matte Edition with bead-blasted case on a steel sailcloth strap. This bad boy runs to +1 sec/day.

But can your Patek tell you this?
Sorry I’m envious!

Love GMTs as in the "before times" I traveled internationally a lot. Not much need for multi-time zones now, but I still love this watch.
Franck Muller beauty.
I have 3 GMT MASTER II.
From different eras. 2 blacks and 1 pepsi.
This watch is still a great investment.
It went from 5000 euros 7 years ago to 14000 now ( full sets are more around 15-16k ). I predict that they will be around 30k in a few years.
Like the PP 5711 and the Daytona, it is now impossible to get one new from a Rolex retailer. And the demand is very high.

I am a long time watch collector. I do not have anything of high value like Patek, AP, Lange & Sohne, etc. My collection is all mechanical watches, auto and manual wind. I am amazed at how such a tiny mechanical machine can keep time as accurate as they do. Since I have retired I find myself rarely wearing a watch. If everyone is ok I think I will go through my collection on this thread before I liquidate most of any value.
This is a Nodus from a small boutique maker. Not high cost but I have several from these type small shops that build great looking watches with high level build quality.

Jerome I bought this GMT used as a red/black “coke” with no box or papers. I immediately sent it to Rolex Dallas TX for a complete service. I asked them to change the bezel to a red/blue “Pepsi” and amazingly they sent the original red/black back with it. Incredible how much this watch has appreciated. I have a GMT-MASTER II 116710 I will post a pic of eventually.
I couldn't agree more, bought my 'Pepsi' (M16700) back over twenty five years ago for less than 3k, easily worth triple that today. Had it recently serviced at the Rolex facility in Litiz, Pa and while servicing as we all know is not cheap it's worth every penny with respect to maintaining value
