The fifth element
It’s an old sci-fi with an alien opera singer in it. The alien looks like a vivid loudspeaker and I was wondering which came first?

The Fifth Element was released in 1997, predating the formation of Vivid Audio and the Giya by several years - cool association though!

Twi'leks first appeared in 1983's Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Not sure if George Lucas, or whoever designed them, got their inspiration from anything else.
The Giya shape looks a lot like a Klein bottle. And there's also the nautilus.Neko Audio
