Vitus picture thread!

Love these threads with " deleted " in them :exciting::congrats: So mature :weird:

should be like the Hoffman forums - after a half an hour - you can't change what you posted - makes you think a little harder before posting - or maybe not

That's a great idea.

at Audiophon,

the Gauder /Isophon are a very GREAT speaker. I love the sound from this brand.

I have the Sasha2 with the Pass XA100.8 (and the XP20 -> tried a ARC REF5se but is not for my....)

What for pre you use with the XA100.5?

Greets

Hi,
for some time I used a ARC REF3 (at that time I still has my old Cassiano D) then I realized that the sound going directly from my DCS Puccini with XLR cables into the 100.5 is even more transparent without giving up anything on the midrange and sold the ARC.
I'm still happy with that combination but I will also try with sone Vitus electronics. We'll see.

Hi,
direct from the Puccini to the Pass? uhmm...I think a pre is a very important gear in a hifi system....: I go test a cd player Vitus SS010 but I like the Ayon product.
Pass pre&ampli with the Ayon (I had a cd3s . too tried direct to the xa100.8 and was not bad...)

Puccini is a very steel blade with your sound! not to much analitic?

anyway te Berlina are amazing. I'm in Switzerland and Isophon are very expensive....much more from my new Sasha2......

I guess the Sasha are too fantastic loudspeakers. Very musical and with very goog timing.

As I do not use my record player anymore but just listen to SACD or CD and via Streaming, I don't need a pre anymore. The sound is not analytical at all, but very relaxt with lots of physical bass impact. I just wanted to send my Berlina RC7 D to Germany for the update to the Mk II version, but due to a problem with the shipping I will postpone it to September.
After the updatd I will try the Vitus electronics as the Italian importer is in the same town as I am (Turin).
Did you ever compare the 100.8 with the 100.5?

yes, before I had the XA100.5 and than I have purchase the .8.

the LF are more "strong" but with respect for the Mid and HF.

The Pass in class A is (for me) very good. price/performance like no other. the details, musical and the new .8 are more "relaxed" vs the .5.

You will change the tweeter from the Berlina with Diamond ? you dont can have "only" the tweeter and change it yourself?

A friend have to sold a Puccini (ad the clock too) -> around Euro. 9500.- (player and clock) -> what do you think?

thank you

Thank's for your impression on the differences between the .8 and the .5.

My Berlina RC7 are with the diamond tweeter. At the High-End fair in Munich in May, Gauder presented the improved version of the Berlina with a new crossover. The sound improvement should be quite remarkable, but the update can only be done at the manufacturer.

The price for the Puccini seems very reasonable if sold with the clock which I really recommend.

If you happen to come to Turin, you are welcome to pass-by for a listing session.

Regards

Here’s a picture for the picture thread. The new Vitus gear is humming sweetly this morning. Six Naim boxes one year ago to 2 Vitus beauties today and it is sounding just incredible.

You need to get some footers under those Vitus boxes to make them really sing. Did Richard assist with your move away from Naim?
