Great pairing. Who would have guessed it? The speed of this amp matches beautifully with the fast AG's. Dead quiet backgrounds too.

Replaced the Lampi with the Lumin and the background got even darker.

In 2014 in Munich I heard Trios with basshorns driven by Vitus Masterclass power amp, for me it was much better than Living Voice Olimpian with Kondo amps.
And I am rather tube guy:)

Never heard them and I would like to but my question is the drivers are the same on the trio and the classico do they sound the same why two models.

Thank you for the very interesting thread.

I'm looking at Avantgarde speakers (Duo or Uno, I think).

Does anybody know if the sounds quality of SIA-025 is as good as SL-103 and SM-011 when 25 Class A is more than enough?

Thank you.

The SIA-025 mk2 output stage is very very similar to the SM-011.

Yes.

And if the SIA is as good or almost, compared to 103 and 102, when used on a sensitive speaker as Avantgarde.

I hope you are liking the combination.

Would love to hear your impressions of this pairing compared to your Ayon tubes. The speed resolution of the AG's with the dense, fully body sound of the Vitus - that's a recipe for magic at least on paper.

Ulrikdk, comedus76,

SIA 025 was the best ss integrated I auditionned at home with AG.
The only issue was the bad match with my phono stage , it didn't work properly , probably because of impedance issues.
But still I like more my Crossfire III for better timbre, micro dynamics and more live- like sound.
Bass from Crossfire is more colorful but maybe a bit less controlled than from Vitus.
Last but not least Ayon is approx half a price of Vitus.
Overall - very good but not better than Crossfire III ,of course in my system and for my ears .
