Beautiful gear, heard the integrated once and loved it...have to hand it to the Danes. Isn't called Vitus Audio, or did I miss the O.

Looks like Vitus Audio to me. I fixed the title Paul. It's uber expensive too.

The Integrated is 13K or somewhere in that area, not too bad compared to other gear in it's class. Gamut is another beauty from Denmark that I owned, I might take a look at the Vitus R-100.

SM-101 inside, underneath the transformer and caps there is a big print where's the output stage and so on is placed.

SM-101 and SS-101 are now in version 102, using technology from MP-201.

I've used SL and SS-101, and heard many of the Vitus products many times.

The warmest of the two is the preamp, the power amps are neutral but also sounds a little warm.
With the preamp I prefer for example the super fast and neutral Soulution 710.

Vitus amps sounds a little slow compared to Soulution, but using 710 in the wrong setup the sound can be fatiguing and boring after a while.

    SM-101/2 delivers 100 watt fully class A in 8/4/2 ohms, SS-101/2 50 watt.

    Welcome Wizard.

I demoed the Vitus SL 101 preamp and SS101 power amp at home for a while. I thought the preamp was the weak link in the system because the M77 Kondo preamp improved the sound considerably. I have been tempted by the masterpiece series in the past though.

When I tried to post a new reply, it will go into the old one - and a silver text "updated" appears.

If I've many pictures of different sizes - it will look stupid with small and big size pictures with updated in between them - I like to separate them in their own posts instead.

And there is no delete post available - I'm not in control anymore - I like a forum with that possibility.
So I will be out of here, and go to another forum instead.

They are working on this as we speak. ...Don't give up!
We all understand the way you feel; we feel the exact same thing.
I'm sure it'll get fixed soon enough.

I tell you what: I'll check all your posts on a daily basis, and each time you post a new one I will reply to it, so that you can post freely right afterwards.
Because it only happens when you post below your own post, but not below another poster (like me).

But, I'll do that only if you say yes to me right here.

Re: Vitus Audio - My New Dream gears.

He's going nowhere; he's just a bit frustrated, like I was too yesterday.
As much as we all love wizard, he loves us all the same.

We all need his beautiful pictures (they are the very best), and he needs us for looking at them, and comment and ask few questions once in a while.
He has some exclusive/exquisite access to some of the very best audio gear in the whole world! ...Design wise (in & out), specs wise, price wise, performance (sound quality) and all that jazz wise.

Simply the best of the best! Period! ...And 99.99 % of all of us we never listened to, and we cannot afford too either (except for Joe).
But some of it we do know (familiar with), some of us listened to few, and some is accessible financially to many of us. ...But no matter if it is $10,000 or $950,000, they all have the same thing in common; they reproduce 'music'.
And that, we all love, and it is a HUGE world out there of so much music of all genres and periods (in time) and places (geographically).

We're all talking the universal language; the one of musical instruments, the musica, maestro.

And that's why we're all here (here in the now) in the first place, and not over there in those porn sites or whatever other jazz places where people get their rocks going.

Ya baby, rock on to the rhythm! ...'Slave to the rhythm': Grace Jones.

The RI-300, although $13k msrp, does seem like good value for entry into a high-end all in one unit. At least you save on one set of IC and PC.

Vitus RS-100 was a very brief demo and soundstage was very narrow. When unit is returned to me with right speaker channel working and on I will give a true evaluation. Demo lasted 30 seconds only. Dealer was also nice but very embarrassed.

I heard the Vitus amps (and preamp) in Toronto. VERY VERY impressed. They are in my top 3. The one thing you can't underestimate is their sheer size. They are massive.

I know Jeff Fritz of Ultra Audio liked their stuff...he has gone back and forth between 3 Class A amps: Boulder, Vitus and Gryphon. Today, he is on Gryphon Mephisto perhaps. Anyway, has anyone compared Vitus to Gryphon? I love the Boulder 2060, though admit I prefer and am happier with my Gryphon. Just personal taste really...both unbelievable and could be easily happy with either. Also have a friend who now runs the Vitus masterpiece series...he seems very satisfied indeed.
