Cables with Vitus
Just wondering what cables you guys are using with your Vitus. I am using Jorma at the moment. Am curious what else works. I would like to try something neutral, dynamic, fast, but not lean nor bright. TIA!!!

Re: Cables with Vitus
I use Crystal Cable Absoloute Dream with my Vitus SM011 monos. I would say they meet your requirements, as you’ve described them. Someone on this forum is selling a pair at a very good price. Worth a read what people say, you may even be tempted.

Re: Cables with Vitus
Tested a bunch of PCs, interconnects and speaker cables with my Vitus set-up. Best interconnects and speaker cable by some margin: Townshend F1 Fractal. Best PC Shunyata Alpha EF, strangely the EF better than the NR in the amp. The effect of the Shunyata on the Vitus CDP is radical: very dynamic, very fast, throws the music into huge 3D focus. On some recordings it can be too much you almost want to tame it.

Re: Cables with Vitus
Hopefully all good cables will sound the same. Because as the audio engineering consultant Dick Pierce noticed a long time ago, expensive but poorly designed audio components were the most sensitive to cable differences.
