My First New Vinyl ...
I received a package from the UPS man. My first new record in probably 25-30 years. I guess you have to start somewhere. It was a gift from Mike B. :o in anticipation of a new TT setup. Unfortunately that's a few months away, but I am actually looking forward to taking the plunge.

My Dartzeel preamp has a MC input so now I am starting to think about easy setup TT's and all that goes with it. There's so much to learn.

As soon as the dust settles with the D'Agostino preamp, I'll need to make a decision on the TT setup.

Hello Nelson. I shipped a box full of vinyl, Fedex today. Coming your way. Just a thank you for all your help. Mostly jazz. Included a sealed 10 inch Prestige recording from master tapes by Monk. Enjoy. I think that I am going to have to put together a package for Joe, when he gets up and running.

Joe,
A set up like yours without a TT is a non sense.
I wish you good luck in your search and I predict that the used market of carts here may grow very fast !

I think I'll send him a record a month....sort of like the "Record of the Month Club"....at least until he gets a TT. I heard someone is a fan of Steely Dan....

Michael,
Depending on the next month or two, I hope to get a TT setup after the summer. That will give Mike some time to ship me 4-5 more LP's.Fleetwood Deville by Oswald Mills Audio, Vienna Acoustics Haydn Jubilee, Wharfedale Linton w/ stands, Klipsch RB-75, Klipsch RP-160M.

Re: My First New Vinyl ...
Hi Joe,
You owned Marantz NA11S1 which is a nice digital source where people praise its analog sounding.
Do you find your new turntable setup is still much better than your NA11S1 ?
I tempted to buy VPI or Rega TT but never pull the trigger because in my country the availability of vinyl album is very limited and pricey.
Thanks.

High praise, indeed. I might just have to check these out when funds allow for an upgrade. Thanks, Mike!
