    Degritter RCM

I have a KL Audio and I really love it, but I hear that they are not in production any longer, although i think they will continue to do service/warranty work.
But just in case I'm considering the Degritter as a backup. Looks like a well made and effective (from what i've read) machine.I like the fact it filters the cleaning water.
Price is a little less than a Audio Desk Glass.

Anyone have any thoughts or opinions?

Looks like a nice machine. I love my ClearAudio Double Matrix. How about the AudioDesk? I had the original one and quite liked it.

    Re: Degritter RCM

Recently received my Degritter. Previously had been using my 10 year old VPI 16.5 with a three step Audio Intelligence fluid regiment with three separate wands. Did well, but the was very labor intensive and rather loud (ear muffs were employed). The Degritter is intuitive to run and adjust. If is relatively quiet with the drying cycle being the loudest but adjustable. Packaging was very solid and the manual is extremely well done. Construction has a high level of fit and finish with solid performance. I have done both the quick clean cycle for my new albums and the medium and heavy cycles for used acquisitions. Quick cycle is about 5 minutes from start to finish. Nice to walk away and come back to clean vinyl. I have been very pleased with the results. I have to thank my lovely wife for this belated Christmas gift!
