    Herbie's Tender Feet

I got a couple sets of Tender Feet in today. I put one set under my preamp and the other under my ACS10. Very pleased with the improvement and reasonably priced. Preamp first then added to ACS10. I wanted to do them separately then together but the preamp install wasn't fun, a bit awkward lifting the preamp with one hand then putting the foot into place. Some of it was weight but mostly angle and space.

I gained an overall improvement in resolution, I believe a bit more depth of sound stage. Sometimes you just have to try things, I didn't think I had a vibration issue nor did I realize the negative affect.

What got me started was a friend of mine asked me to see if I hear any difference, he didn't tell me what he was going to do. Usualy when he says that he is inserting something new. Once he made the change I hesitantly told him the sound got worse. Then he put the feet back in and asked if that was better, it was. So I had to get me some of those

Yep, I've found that all of Herbie's Audio Labs products do what their descriptions says they do. I've been using the Tenderfeet for a while now, and use them under my UpTone Audio LPS-1.2 power supply and EtherREGEN. I found that different components, in particular based on their size and/or construction, often require different kinds of "footers" for optima performance, but the Tenderfeet do quite a good job under a broad range of components. And, they provide quite good performance for their very affordable price.

Another notable use they have is to support a board or platform for placing components on. For example, they work very well as a support for those IKEA bamboo Aptitlig cutting boards.

I am really pleased with the Tender Feet, do you think the discs to go on top the component with the feet will further improve things?

Very nice Mr. P.. My son got me a Herbies Way Excellent TT Mat and it further dampened the vibrations from my wood floor with my Thorens. I need to A-B it with the stock mat to see if it dampens the sound too much. Maybe next week.

I've heard they do, but why not buy a couple and find out? Herbie's has a 60-day trial period.

You should try the Tender feet under DAC and preamp, you may need the extra firm depending on the weight, I used the extra firm under my preamp. I am amazed at the improvement they made. They do have the 60 day rturn but I doubt they get any back.
