Good question! I saw them at AXPONA in 2018 and not since.

I followed it for a bit. Haven't followed it much of late since it went more into the background. I'm sure like many things, given the current state of COVID-19, things even have slowed to more of a crawl.

This could still be a long time coming. Pre-production phase means they aren't ready for prime time yet, let alone ensuring they have quality product coming off the assembly line once production starts. Restarting a production line is not a smooth paved road which is why companies don't like to see breaks in production if at all possible. Who knows how much (or if any) tribal knowledge they have retained from the last time they were manufacturing their 300B.

That’s my worry too Mark. I’m hopeful they can make a good go of it. I’d love to hear their tubes and more importantly, the new 91E amp on my Avantgarde Duo XD.

    +1

When they are ready for prime time, I’ll patronize them and do my part.

Is this the second or third time they have attempted to put the 300B back in production?

They had a good presence at Axpona 2019. A large suite with two rooms of displays - cables, tubes and gear.
