Does anyone here have experience with wolf-audio-tubes on ebay?

He seems to have some nice tubes for sale but are the prices okay or too high? It's hard for me to judge. I'm looking for some E88CC/ECC88/6922 tubes on his site.

I am not personally familiar with this seller and could not easily find his listings. Perhaps a link would help.
Ebay is pretty good about you having the ability to return items that are "not as described".
Read close the description, then read it again and checkout all the terms and conditions of the listing.
It's also recommended to have a way to test any tubes you receive. NOTE: Tube testers, especially the older vintage ones, can provide different readings than what the seller listed. It's not an issue as long as the two readings are in the same ballpark (relatively close). But a weak or dead tube is still a weak or bad tube.

I was looking at:

For my Octave phono module pre amp. I've done some reading and talked to some people. They recommend me Valvo or Telefunken tubes I'm told these are very quiet (no noise) and not overly warm sounding. I my pre amp I would prefer dead quiet tubes and very accurate. No exaggerated mids and rolled of highs and lows.

The other option would EAT ECC88 tubes. The input tube of my pre amp is a EAT ECC83. The two ECC88 are for the output buffer I think at least one of them is.

The Telefunken tubes in the listing are used tubes. Not NOS. Doesn't mean they are bad, just not new.
They appear authentic Telefunken, however they are not CCa tubes. They are an equivalent (i.e. e88cc)
All original CCa tubes will have that printed on the tube.
They were specially graded e88cc tubes destined for the German Post Office use.
The seller appears to be very knowledgeable and offers a return policy. The tubes appear to have good test results.
Not sure if that is a good price over there.

Hi Mordante, Mr Rico Wolf (the owner of Wolf Audio Tubes) is my „tubes mechanic“, he has been taking care of tube supply and also repair issues (replacing bass unit of speaker, servicing and maintenance and complete overhaul of tube amps).
Perfectly reliable, helpful, capable and proficient.
